It’s a day of high hoisting and big milestones as Jude hauls Richard to the top of the mast to replace our wind instrument and finally rig the inner forestay. After three years of planning, we hoist the staysail for the very first time—and she looks beautiful.
With the day’s work done, it’s time for a steamy shower. The lens fogs up... but we’re not sure if it’s the hot water or just Jude. We wrap it up with coffee from our new Nespresso machine and a view that makes it all worth it.
