After a short sail, we enter a beautiful bay on the Island of Elafonisos. This is a stunning location and we spend two days walking the beaches and swimming in the crystal-clear blue water.

We visit the home of the Spartan war fleet - Gythia. We are anchored next to the island where Helen and Paris spent their last night before going to Troy. We head across the gulf to take shelter in a bay in preparation for heading around the last finger of the Peloponnese

One of the joys of this life is the amazing things we just stumble upon. After anchoring in this bay we find it is home to the Caves of Diros, the Greek mythological entrance to the underworld, supposedly visited by Hercules

We battle strong winds and rolling seas to make our way to the historic town of Koroni. It doesn't disappoint with a beautiful small village and fortress, home to locals and a monastery. We visit a lovely bay with crystal-clear waters.
